Embassy of the Republic of Somaliland in the UK participates in the London Political Summit & Awards

The Embassy of the Republic of Somaliland in the United Kingdom participated in the London Political Summit & Awards held at the House of Commons, Westminster - an annual international conference to which the Somaliland Embassy in the UK was officially invited.

The summit featured discussions on Africa’s vast natural resources and the continent’s growing role as the future hub of global opportunity and development. International awards were presented during the event, and among the distinguished recipients was the former Ambassador of the Republic of Somaliland to the United Kingdom, His Excellency Abdi Abdillahi.

Following the summit, Deputy Ambassador Mohamed Hasan Roble (Maxamed Carab) held constructive discussions with the former Vice President of Kenya and current presidential candidate, Mr. Kalonzo Musyoka. Their discussions focused on matters relating to the relationship and cooperation between Somaliland and Kenya.

Deputy Ambassador Mohamed Hasan Roble also held a diplomatic meeting with Ambassador Macenje Che Mazoka, the Ambassador of Zambia to the United Kingdom. During the meeting, he provided a briefing on Somaliland and discussed the potential for strengthening diplomatic engagement and cooperation between the two embassies, as well as broader relations between Somaliland and Zambia.
